If you are not too bothered about having to set the Windows 10 file width for each folder, here is a quick fix.
Windows 10, by default, automatically sets the width of the folder for you. It does this based on the type of file within a specific folder. What this means is that if you populate a folder with one type of file, all of your files will automatically be set to a certain view when you revisit or update the folder.
This can be an annoying problem if you have all your files neatly (read: anxiously) organized into many, many folders and subfolders. So what if you could change the way Windows 10 displays files in folders based on type? Fortunately, there is an easy solution.
