Forza Horizon 5 is a critically acclaimed global racing game, and developer Playground Games and publisher Xbox Game Studios are committed to constantly adding new game content through the Festival playlist. Each week, the playlist offers players new events, challenges to complete, and rewards to earn. Sometimes, however, challenges can increase the difficulty or be unclear in their descriptions and instructions.
From challenging daily challenges to a hunt for mysterious treasures, this is all you need to know to complete these Forza Horizon 5 challenges and get every exclusive reward in one of the best racing games on Xbox.
how I can Complete Festival Playlist Challenges In Forza Horizon 5?

The Forza Horizon 5 Festival playlist features a rotating set of challenges and potential events, most of which are fairly straightforward. However, FH5’s festival playlist will often present players with a particularly difficult challenge, either through design, confusing or unclear instructions, or even in-game bugs that prevent the challenge from completing normally.
Winter, Series 6 – Collectibles Challenge “T-Rex on the Run”

Forza Horizon 5 Series 6’s latest season brings all-new collectibles, this time in the form of miniature T-Rexes scattered across Mexico. Unlike old paint drums, these collectibles seem to be really hidden around the map, making 15 of them hard to find and smash. Here’s what you need to know to complete the “T-Rex on the Run” collectibles challenge as part of the Forza Horizon 5’s Series 6 Festival playlist.
- Description: Discover and smash 15 T-Rexes hidden around Mexico.
- Reward or reward: Three points in the playlist and a Creative Tee Vanity item.
You can use any car you want to complete “T-Rex on the Run” as long as it can get enough speed to smash things properly. As for finding collectibles to smash, Playground Games seems to have hidden these figurines quite well. There, ideally, at least 15 T-rex gnomes have been sprinkled all over Forza Horizon 5, but most players (including me) seem to at least discover gnomes hidden by the Runway Danger Sign (shown above).
You can find the statue just behind the cliff of Danger Sign, overlooking the river and expanse of land. Players will want to jump using the ramp his tail is stuck through. Once you locate the T-rex, Don’t break it. We can actually only use one to complete the entire challenge.
Before you crash the T-rex statue, head to the “Online” tab in the Pause menu and make sure you’re in Horizon Solo game mode and not Horizon Life. This is an offline mode, means that the rewind function also Reflects damage to the environment and collectibles (does not happen when you are online). While you’re at it, head over to the Difficulty screen in Settings and double-check that the Rewind function is turned on and usable.

Once you’re done, line up with the T-rex figurine (to save yourself some time, pause for a few seconds – this way you can always come back to the same spot). Smash colorful collectibles and repeat them 15 times (or until the challenge is complete). This method is time consuming, but it is better than systematically searching the entire map for 14 other statues to smash.
Over time, it’s practically guaranteed to find more T-rex statues by other players around the map, if you want to complete the challenge in a more “legal” way. Meanwhile, this is the most efficient way to complete the “T-Rex on the Run” Collectibles Challenge in Forza Horizon 5 and collect rewards.
Winter, Series 6 – “#BearNecessities” Photo Challenge

Continuing the “Creator” theme in the series, the “#BearNecessities” photo challenge tasks players with depicting a specific vehicle on a specific mural in a specific location. The hardest aspect of this challenge is simply knowing where to look for the mural.

Your first step is to secure and drive a 2009 Ford Focus RS, which can be obtained from Autoshow for only 25,000 points. You do not have to modify or customize the car in any way to complete this challenge. After you have the required car, head to Playa Azul, which is the city on the east coast (right side) of the Forza Horizon 5 map.
If you’re driving on the road closest to the beach in Playa Azul until you reach the Playa Azul Circuit Road Race, you should notice a dirt road heading into town (either after or just before the race event, depending on where you started). Near this road is a colorful multi-storey building with a Fred Roda mural adorning its side. You can accurately locate the mural using the images above and below.

Once you track down the mural, it’s just a matter of snapping a quick shot with both the 2009 Ford Focus RS and Farid Rueda Bear Mural in the picture. Using the Horizon Promo “Quickshot” works with this challenge. Once you take an acceptable photo, you’ll walk away with two more playlist points and a new Vanity Item.
