Dark club mode
According to a news story from 9to5Mac, the social audio service, Clubhouse, has finally started rolling out long-awaited support for dark mode for both Android and iOS users.
The new feature in Clubhouse mobile apps will soon allow all of its users to try it out on their smartphone, giving it a bleak and dark interface, which has been a design trend for years now.
It is worth noting that both Android and iOS have previously added a dark mode option to their devices. Apps that support it will switch to a black or dark gray interface design.
By default, most other apps and software have a design that uses the color white sparingly. However, for some, too much of a bright white look frustrates their eyes, especially during nighttime or low-light sessions. Hence, users have preferred to switch to the dark mode.
Fortunately, the folks behind the live audio social platform have decided to populate the Clubhouse’s Android and iOS app with the coveted dark mode option.
However, it should be noted that the new feature may take some time before it reaches all its users globally. But don’t worry because dark mode support is already on its way to you.
Clubhouse has announced that its users will start receiving a new dark mode option, which most social media apps have been sporting for some time already.
The live audio app said, “We’ve listened to your pleas. We’ve monitored your tweets. We’ve seen your hacked solutions together and made copies of the UI of your dreams.”
The audio social network has assured its users that the wait for the dark mode feature is coming to an end as it begins rolling out the new feature.

Meanwhile, according to a recent report by Android Police, Clubhouse also recently started testing a new feature, which allows users to play games inside a room.

A picture taken in the Iranian capital Tehran on May 14, 2021 shows an Iranian man checking the Clubhouse app on his smartphone. As Iran prepares for a presidential election, people from across the political spectrum are turning to the Clubhouse audio app as a rare forum for discussion within the country. However, the Iranian club’s supervisors have been criticized for not allowing all voices to be heard.
For the first-ever indoor game, the sonic social network has released a game called Wild Cards. Essentially, participants are asked to share random facts about themselves, which can be a great icebreaker for those in the room.
