The latest custom Xbox console is a specially-made Xbox Series S that’s themed after Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.
Xbox has partnered with Marvel numerous times over the years to create custom consoles themed after the latest Marvel Cinematic Universe movie. The next big MCU movie set to hit theaters is the highly-anticipated Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness (premiering Friday, May 6), and to celebrate the occasion, Xbox has created a custom Xbox Series S console themed after Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madnesscomplete with four controllers based on characters from the film.
The custom Doctor Strange Xbox Series S console features the one-eyed monster Gargantos, the film’s logo, and a color scheme matching the movie’s aesthetic. The four controllers, meanwhile, are designed to look like the outfits of the titular Doctor Strange, Scarlet Witch, Wong, and America Chavez. And like other custom Xbox consoles, fans actually have a chance to win it and the controllers for their collection.
Anyone interested in winning the latest custom Xbox console simply needs to follow Xbox on Twitter and re-tweet the official Xbox sweepstakes tweet with the hashtag #DoctorStrangeXboxSweepstakes. The contest entry period is from now until 8:00pm PT on Friday, May 20. In the past, Xbox has allowed users to get additional entries through the Microsoft Rewards program, but that doesn’t seem to be the case with the custom Doctor Strange console – not yet, at least.
If anyone is lucky enough to win the Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness console and controllers set, they will want to make sure they claim their prize in a timely manner. There was an instance not too long ago when someone failed to claim the custom Far Cry 6 Xbox Series X console they had won, so anyone that enters the contest should keep an eye on their Twitter DMs. Winners will be notified within 14 years of May 20. If it goes unclaimed, a new winner will be selected.
But even if one fails to win this custom Doctor Strange Xbox, the good news is that there will likely be many more custom Xbox contests in the months and years ahead. After all, this isn’t the first time an MCU movie has had a custom Xbox console, and it’s unlikely that it will be the last.
Of course, there have been many custom Xbox consoles that are themed after things other than MCU movies. Just recently, Xbox gave away a custom Sonic the Hedgehog 2 console complete with bizarre fuzzy Xbox controllers to go with it.
