Xbox Game Pass is Losing 4 Games Today

Four games are leaving the Xbox Game Pass lineup after day, including some of the service’s more well-reviewed titles.

Xbox Game Pass is absolutely key to Microsoft’s strategy this generation, with the company putting all it can into bolstering Xbox Game Pass and its lineup of games. New games are added to Xbox Game Pass all the time, ranging from older titles to brand-new, day one releases. But while Microsoft does all its can to ensure that there is a constant stream of games coming to Xbox Game Pass, there are times when titles are removed from the service as well.

Xbox Game Pass subscribers don’t have to worry about most first-party Xbox games ever the lineup, but third-party leaving titles are always at risk of being removed. The good news is that Microsoft usually gives fans about two weeks notice whenever games are going to leave Xbox Game Pass, and with some exceptions, the games are always removed on the same dates. Most of the time, Xbox Game Pass games leave on the 15th and last day of every month.

In total, four games are leaving the Xbox Game Pass service after today, and so anyone interested in playing them should do so while they still can. The four games leaving Xbox Game Pass on April 30 are Cricket 19, Outlast 2, Secret Neighborand Streets of Rage 4. Cricket 19 is a game based on the titular sport, whereas Outlast 2 is a first-person horror game. Secret Neighbormeanwhile, is a spin-off of the Hello Neighbor series, while Streets of Rage 4 is the latest entry in the popular beat ’em up franchise. out of these, Outlast 2 and Streets of Rage 4 earned the highest marks from critics and fans, so Game Pass subscribers may want to prioritize them over the other games leaving the service on April 30.

While Xbox Game Pass subscribers may be sad to see these games go, they should have plenty of new games to look forward to in short time. Numerous day one Xbox Game Pass games have already been confirmed for May 2022, with various other titles expected to join the service as well. So even though these games are leaving Game Pass, they will be replaced in short order.
