If you’re a photographer with FOMO and often walk around with more gear than it seems humanly possible, mixed into an impromptu camera bag (me), you’re in luck. Kiss the mayhem goodbye to the arrival of the updated Niko Camera Collection 3.0 from Chrome Industries. Chrome Industries took input from veteran photographers when redesigning this kit, adding a lot of useful new features and improving overall comfort.
The company, which has been making bags and bags for city legs since 1995, has also released a new line of camera straps designed for “peace of mind and easy access for photographers on the go.”
Bag Updates

The Niko Camera Backpack 3.0 is a $280 box beast that aims to organize and protect all your gear. The updates prioritize accessibility, with the addition of additional interior and exterior pockets and updated side-door access to the main cabin. The laptop sleeves also got a bump in size and padding, and will now fit a 16-inch device.
Customizable modular dividers allow you to customize your backpack exactly to your taste, while side door access on the right and left means it’s never been easier to haul your gear. The numerous organizational pockets will keep your phone, memory cards, movies, and more ready to go without you in the middle of a mess. The new design also features cargo straps on the side for added versatility.

The backpack is also approved by Bluedesign, which means that it has been produced, in association with the organisation, sustainably and responsibly with the goal of minimizing the impact on people and the planet. The exterior is made of durable 1050D nylon (that’s military grade), while the interior is lined with soft-touch tricot fabric.
Chrome Industries has also rolled out an upgrade to the $145 Niko Camera Sling 3.0, which, while slightly smaller than a backpack, is no less powerful — you can still pack a DSLR with a 70-200mm lens, plus extras.

Wear it across your body or around your waist (Elastic Packs So right now) and easily access your gear via the top zip opening. There are also foldable pockets for memory cards, envelopes, and other small items. Like the backpack, the sling has custom dividers and is made from the same strong Bluedesign approved materials.

New camera straps allow easy access to gear
Chrome Industries introduced all-new camera straps while also releasing them in the form of the Niko Camera Shoulder Strap and Niko Wrist Strap, which retail for $40 and $25, respectively. Both feature a durable five strap webbing, quick release buckles, and split rings. They are also interchangeable with each other.

The Shoulder Strap is a “camera strap designed to keep it quick and light” with an adjustable length of up to 47″. The wrist strap provides up to 15.5 inches of room.
